About Polly

Hi, I'm Pollly!

I live in London, though I'm rarely there for long. Most of The Whispered Crown has been written in a mix of my own flat and whatever city I've ended up in that month, since I've never quite been able to write about somewhere without wanting to see it first.

My obsession with Greek mythology started at school, and it never really ended. Somewhere between that and a lifelong weakness for dark romance, writing my own version of these myths stopped feeling optional and started feeling like something I actually needed to do.

The Whispered Crown is my debut series, and my attempt at offering the world a glimpse into my thoughts and creativity. I hope you enjoy it, and that you fall in love with these characters as much as I have.

If you'd like to stay updated with news, pictures, and everything happening with Trial of Shadows and the rest of the series, subscribe to the newsletter and follow me on Instagram & TikTok.

Questions about the series, press or collaboration inquiries, or just want to say hello? I'd love to hear from you! Come find me on Instagram, that's where I actually see and reply to messages. It might take me a little while, but I will get back to you.
